About the Look
The cape will be created by attaching a crochet piece by Beatrice Halliday Squires, to a wool blanket with hand stitching, to be embellished with rug hooking techniques – plain, reversed, tuffed, etc., and possibly some needle felting, embroidery and appliqué. The crochet piece and the wool blanket will be over dyed using natural dyes. This cape will be paired with tailored trousers in textured wool suiting fabric with uneven over dye in natural dye bath of cutch/browns.
