About the Look
This overcoat discourses on the relationship between humans and their shared natural environment. Black landscape cloth was cut into a pattern that resembles power lines to reference to the act of extracting resources and an attempt at controlling the environment. This overcoat is paired with a corset belt at the waist to further the connection of how we squeeze nature and the leather shorts within the coat exemplifies the caging of natural resources.
